Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to KosRent! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access our services.

Eligibility Requirements
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ for certain vehicle categories)
- Possess a valid driver's license (for vehicle rentals)
- Have a valid credit card for payment and security deposit
- Provide accurate and complete information during booking
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- EU license holders: Valid license + passport/ID
- Non-EU visitors: Valid license + International Driving Permit (IDP)
- License must be held for minimum 1 year (2 years for premium vehicles)
Booking & Reservations
Booking Process
- All bookings must be made through our official platform
- Booking confirmation is subject to vehicle availability
- We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion
- All information provided must be accurate and verifiable
Payment Terms
- Full payment or deposit required at time of booking
- Prices include VAT and basic insurance coverage
- Additional services and extras charged separately
- Security deposit required for all vehicle rentals
- Prices may vary based on season, demand, and availability
Vehicle Rental Terms
Your Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle before departure
- Drive safely and follow traffic laws
- Return vehicle on time and in same condition
- Report accidents or damages immediately
- Keep vehicle secure when unattended
- Use only authorized drivers
Prohibited Activities
- Driving under influence of alcohol/drugs
- Reckless or dangerous driving
- Using vehicle for illegal activities
- Smoking in vehicles
- Transporting pets (unless pre-approved)
- Off-road driving (unless specifically permitted)
Insurance & Liability
Insurance Coverage
All rentals include basic insurance coverage:
- Third Party Liability: Required by Greek law
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Reduces liability for vehicle damage
- Theft Protection: Coverage against vehicle theft
- Fire Insurance: Protection against fire damage
Important Limitations
- Deductible applies to all claims (varies by vehicle category)
- Damage to tires, wheels, windscreen, and undercarriage excluded
- Coverage void if terms of rental are violated
- Driver must be authorized and meet age requirements
Liability
You are liable for:
- Deductible amount in case of damage or theft
- Traffic fines and parking tickets
- Loss of keys or documents
- Fuel costs (if not returned with full tank)
- Additional cleaning fees if required
Cancellation & Refund Policy

User Conduct
When using our services, you agree to:

- Providing false or misleading information
- Attempting to defraud or harm our business
- Harassing staff or other customers
- Violating any applicable laws
- Using services for unauthorized purposes
Intellectual Property
All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by KosRent or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
- Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Create derivative works based on our content
Limitation of Liability
Important Legal Notice
KosRent's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Acts of third parties or forces beyond our control
- Damages exceeding the total amount paid for services
Privacy

Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kos, Greece.
